CHESTNUT & WHITE CHOCOLATE BLISS BALLS

Chestnuts, warm socks, fireplaces, are all in season now. These plant-based treats are easy to make and incredibly delicious. Soft, sweet, salty, caramel-like, grounding, vegan and gluten-free. Pecan nuts and white chocolate on top make them super special.

Makes 10-12 balls

ALL YOU NEED

90g Medjool dates, soft and pitted
60g pecan, raw
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
3-4 chestnuts, boiled or baked, peeled

50g white chocolate, for melting

HOW TO MAKE

Start with removing the stone from the dates. Knead them by hand until a soft and smooth dough is formed.
Add the other ingredients.
Shape into balls, ideally one bite size.
Refrigerate for 10 min, not necessary but it helps to let the chocolate get firm later.
Melt the white chocolate in a water bath. Dip half of each bliss ball into the chocolate.
Add extra magic by sprinkling crushed pecans on top and you are ready to serve them.

DELICIOUS NOTES

You can use walnuts instead of pecan nuts.
